Becoming an agent of change

A regular, inspired meditation practice has the power to transform lives. This course gives you the tools you need to share your own love of meditation with others.

In addition to learning the theory and practice of a wide range of meditation techniques and skills, you’ll gain practical experience in the arts of creating a meditative space, setting an intention for your group, and reading and holding the energy of a group.  You’ll also learn how to work with energy and spirit to raise the collective vibration and enhance communication and intuition.

Co-requisite: Language of the Soul (if wishing to receive the Certificate In Meditation Facilitation).

We recommend students complete Language of the Soul before completing the Certificate In Meditation Facilitation or complete both streams simultaneously.  However, some students opt to do the Language of the Soul course after the Meditation Facilitation modules to receive their Certificate in Meditation Facilitation in six months.

If you wish to only complete the Meditation Facilitation modules without doing Language of the Soul modules, you can do so, however you will not be eligible to receive the Certificate In Meditation Facilitation  In this instance you would be supplied with a Statement of Attendance.  If you’re not sure about the best study pathway for your personal needs, please contact us and we will be delighted to help you!

Format: Four modules, each comprising 4 x 2-hour classes.  Plus additional practical component of 6 hours.  No fee is charged for practice supervision.  Click here to view the course flyer.

Course Outline:

Module 1 - Creative Visualisation

The use of creative visualization has revolutionized the ability of people to relax and get in touch with the deeper inner truths and "self" that lie within.  This understanding and how it works will be explored in this workshop.  It will give you the understanding and experience on how to create visual meditations for your self and others.

Essentially the brain responds in images; we often even think in pictures.  Our memory will regularly relate in pictures as a means of accessing our feelings and inner self.  And our imagination and dreams also use visual stimulus.  The use of creative visualization meditations is designed to use these active visual creative processes of the mind to open the doors to our deeper spiritual selves. Opening these visual skills allows you to explore the deeper state of meditation.    Course dates to be set in 2010

Module 2 - Creating & Holding Space

The best facilitators know how to create and hold an environment for the group and individual dynamics.  In any group, in order for the facilitator to do the best job possible, the ability to create and hold the dynamic is absolutely critical.  You will learn to understand the dynamics of how group energy works and flows.

You will be taught how to create and hold the space for yourself in a small group.  You will learn how to create and hold ritual should you ever want to use it to create and hold the group energy.  You will also be given some meditation transcripts to work with and develop as your own.   Course dates to be set in 2010

Module 3 - Passive Meditation

For a long time, the use of passive meditation has been used to quieten the mind.  This can be achieved by the use of mantra, single focused thought, sound and other techniques.  Traditionally the use of passive meditation has been considered the only way to meditate.  While this view has changed with the advances in consciousness and technology, it is still considered an essential aspect of meditation.  We will look at how passive meditation impacts the life of the individual and brainwave activity, and how that is of benefit to the individual.  Course dates to be set in 2010

Module 4 - Symbols & Signs

In this workshop you will learn to understand and identify symbols and signs that emanate from the subconscious mind in meditation and dreams.  Our own spiritual psyche communicates to us through the use of symbols and signs.  The spiritual self uses symbols through our meditations and dreams as a means of communicating from the spiritual mind, through the subconscious mind, to the conscious mind.  Our individual journey is expressed through these symbols so we can grow and develop our soulful nature in a spiritually conscious way. Course dates to be set in 2010

Practice Component

Practical time is necessary for you to gain assessment in your course.  Whilst you will have practice time in class, additional practice is required outside of class hours.  The College will supply space and time slots for part of your practice outside class hours.

After 20 years of Metaphysical Teaching, Stephen has found the common denominator in all students' ability depends upon their level of confidence.  It is important to have a well developed sense of confidence in whatever techniques you do.   This is beneficial on many levels, not only to strengthen your understanding and ability at this level, but it then opens your sense of self worth and purpose.  That in turns leads you to become more open in life in general, not just to be better at the facilitating skills, but in every area of your life.   Ongoing throughout course.
