Opening up to your sixth sense

If you’ve ever thought you might be psychic, this course will help you develop your skills and have confidence in your psychic intuition.  Building on the fundamentals learnt in Language of the Soul, you’ll learn how to access and channel spirit for yourself and others.

Practical, hands-on exercises will allow you to try out a range of psychic tools, including card reading, psychometry (jewellery reading) and basic mediumship, and discover your own preferred way of receiving messages and insights from soul and spirit.  You’ll also learn how to develop your psychic connection, how to protect yourself when opening up to psychic phenomena, and how to clear ghosts and entities from houses and other spaces.

Co-requisite: Language of the Soul (if wishing to receive the Certificate In Psychic Development).

We recommend students complete Language of the Soul before completing the Certificate In Psychic Development or complete both streams simultaneously.  However, some students opt to do the Language of the Soul course after the Psychic Development modules to receive their Certificate in Psychic Development in six months.

If you wish to only complete the Psychic Development modules without doing Language of the Soul modules, you can do so, however you will not be eligible to receive the Certificate In Psychic Development  In this instance you would be supplied with a Statement of Attendance.  If you’re not sure about the best study pathway for your personal needs, please contact us and we will be delighted to help you!

Course Outline:

Module 1 - Attuning to Your Psychic Channel

The purpose of this module is to open the psychic channels for students to activate conscious communication at the psychic level.  The ability to break through these boundaries allows the veils of different realities to be lifted.

The challenge is to use the available information to be channeled for empowerment, knowledge and to further deepen the human experience.  As we are spiritual beings having a physical experience we realise there are structures in place to keep the boundaries between the physical earth world and the ethereal spiritual world.  These dimensional boundaries have been a necessary part of the existence, and more importantly the development, of mankind. By keeping the walls between the earth world and the spiritual world, it has allowed the sphere of man to be developed in its own unique way.

With the overall changing of consciousness, the time has now come where mankind is ready for the slow dissolution of these boundaries on a mass scale.  This module facilitates the process of opening and cleaning the psychic channel and helps you identify the different psychic tools you have, ranging from clairvoyant (seeing), clairsentient (feeling), clairaudient (hearing), clairambience (smell), clairalient (taste/smell), claircognizant (knowing), intuition and psychic intuition.

Module 2 - Psychic Tools

There are many tools with which a psychic works.  This module shows you how to actively integrate your own channel with traditional psychic tools to further develop your own psychic skills and individual skills.

Throughout history many people have associated the psychic phemonema with one or two skills only.  In reality, most of the tools psychics use are entry points that are used to gain access to the higher levels of awareness and are simply what they are – tools.  To use these different aspects and tools is critical in the development of your skills.

• The use of tarot cards is bringing history to the present energy to allow the person you are reading, to relate to the message you are bringing forth.
• Psychometry is reading the energy left on an item such as jewellery.  It can relate to the present owner or previous owners and is a great way to open and develop your skill.
• Aura reading allows you to relate information regarding the energy surrounding the person in their energy field.   It is a great way to develop the skills of reading the aura, either with your third eye or for some their physical eyes.
• Meduimship is a very interesting skill as you must first move through some of the beliefs and blockages you hold within the subconscious mind.

Module 3 - Psychic Service

Different energy impacts our environment in many ways, some positive, some challenging.  This module focusses on how you can change the energy of your environment to 'clean up' any negative emotional energetic residue.  This can be done at home or work.

One of the most beautiful services you can offer in the psychic world is assisting the souls that have not made the transition to the next world and therefore are stuck in between worlds.  These lost souls can be seeking attention for help and, not only can they be in distress at times, but the activity they create in seeking help can affect people in this physical world.  Assisting these souls on their journey back to the spirit world is not only uplifting and truly amazing but it opens your own psychic channel with the essence of unconditional love. Only with the energy of unconditional love can this service be performed.  Only by creating the most gentlest of space with an open heart can you access this service.

Module 4 - Mediumship & Ethics of Psychic Service

This module examines the ethics of dealing in the psychic world and how to conduct your services in love and with dignity.  Throughout history, psychics have often been ridiculed and at times persecuted.  However even some of those who ridicule have called on the services of a psychic to help them in times of trouble and when needing clarity.

It is vitally important that you understand that, as a psychic, you are only a conduit for information and you may not always get it right.  By understanding the Universal Laws that relate to the responsibility of information and the delivery of that information, this will allow you to stand in your own truth as a psychic and strengthen your own spiritual connection.

When you stand in your own beauty and light, it automatically allows others around you to do so as well.  Letting go of your judgment will attract towards you the energy of freedom and love in all the services you undertake.

Practice Component

Practical time is necessary for you to gain assessment in your course.  Whilst you will have practice time in class, additional practice is required outside of class hours.  The College will supply space and time slots for part of your practice outside class hours.

It is very important that you gain constructive feedback in this work.  Whilst the Certificate In Psychic Development is aimed at readings for family, friends and for your own development, it is still critical you receive some experience and, out of that experience, you get some constructive feedback to further strengthen your psychic abilities. Opportunities for practice and development will be supplied by the College to really open during the reading experience.
